Kemp Elementary Media Center

    Mrs. Tanguay is in charge of our school's media center.  She strives hard to make sure that every child is supported in their reading and learning endeavors.  To help facilitate this, she collaborates with teachers on the curriculum and provides added support by making sure every child reads at least one book at their reading level weekly.  

    The media center offers a wide variety of leveled books for children to use.  The students can also take Accelerated Reader tests on the books they have read.  The school provides prizes which students earn by passing the tests and earning points.

   The Media Center is a hub of learning where lots of fun and exciting things happen.  For example, on Dr. Seuss's birthday we had members of the board of education come and read to the students.
