Community reach center was founded as a private, non-profit treatment center in 1957 and has become one of the premier providers of counseling and mental health services in the Denver area. The centers staff is committed to understanding and improving the mental and emotional health of the people they serve.  We are proud to have the Community Reach Center as a partner and we are grateful of their many years of service to our school and community.

Goodwill Youth Services partners with over 27 Denver Metro high schools to help more than 15,000 disadvantaged teens achieve their dreams. We are happy to be a part of this great mission.  Through Goodwill's career development programs, students learn how to create goals, explore career options, prepare for college and much more.

  Leader's Challenge  
 

Leader’s Challenge is a non-profit youth leadership program which provides training to high school students across the state of Colorado.  Their mission is to create civic and service minded high school students by developing their leadership skills, inspiring purpose, and empowering them to make a difference.

  Colorado State University Alliance Program  
 

Adams City is one of 10 Colorado high schools that partnered with Colorado State University to form the Alliance Program, which is aimed at encouraging high school students to attend college.  The Alliance program also provides a unique opportunity for our students, that is the Alliance Award, which gives a base award of $2000.00 per academic year, many could receive the full amount of tuition and fees, based on the student’s document financial need.

  Colorado State University Upward Bound Program  
 

The Upward Bound Program works with high school students to develop the necessary academic skills and motivation needed to successfully complete high school and enter college upon graduation.  Upward Bound serves sophomores, juniors and seniors in 10 high schools throughout the state of Colorado and we are very fortunate to be one of those schools.

  Colorado State University Talent Search Program  
 

The education talent search program assists eligible sixth grade, middle school and high school students in reaching their educational goals by facilitating educational workshops, assisting students with the class selection process so that students will become academically prepared for college, conducting field trips to businesses, colleges, universities, and youth leadership conferences, while also providing individual career, college admissions and financial aid counseling.

Female Recruits Explore Engineering (FREE) is an outreach and research project that brings together academically talented Black, Latina, Native American, and White high school girls in small groups to focus on exploring engineering and information technology as career choices.

The University of Colorado at Denver School of Education has been a partner of ours for around twelve years.  UCD’s preparation program for teachers is based on several teaching roles and their related essential questions.  We are grateful for this long lasting partnership.

Here at ACHS we enjoy a strong partnership with the City of Commerce City. Our service clubs and other student organizations provide a great service to the community and our doors are open to hosting many different citywide events.  Here at ACHS we feel that it is necessary for our school to be in integral part within our community and we do everything we can to insure this happens.

The Commerce City Rotary Club is made up of some fifty men and women from different backgrounds that live or work in the Commerce City area who give their time and money to the community in a variety of ways.  Our high schools Interact club is heavily involved with the Commerce City Rotary Club and we enjoy their co-sponsorship of our Student’s of the month.
